Big Bear Vacation

We took our first trip of the summer to Big Bear Lake and it was Aaaaaamazing! We had never been and were really anxious to get there! It was sooo beautiful and relaxing. Tyson, Kelly, and Jackson joined us and we all relaxed on the deck, barbecued, and enjoyed the fresh air and awesome views! The kids played, the adults played, what more could you ask for!? Hopefully we can make this a tradition!

Kobie's awards ceremony!

We got invited to Kobie's school to watch him receive an award; however, we had no idea what it was for. When we got there we were so excited for him when the award was for "exemplary academic achievement" in every subject! The teacher said that no matter what he was working on or learning about, he excelled in everything there was.... needless to say, we are so proud of him! Oh, he also got an award for "most likely to be seen on ESPN" and "perfect attendance", That's our boy! Wish we got better pictures but he was way too cool to have mom & dad take pix of him with his awards.

....even with our big SUV we have a packed car! We have dogs riding on kids laps everywhere, Except Aspen... she got off easy!
